Maison Prunier Description

The Pineau des Charentes i obtained by blending in oak casks approximately three quarters of volume of grape juice and one quarter of aged cognac. It can be drunk young (2 years). At this stage it is fresh and fruity. It improves with ageing. Traditionally it is drunk before meals; many gastronomes find that its smoothness is a perfect complement to 'foie gras' and its sweet ness brings out the aromas of certain fruits (melon, strawberries). Its fruity style brings a pleasant freshness to a plate of oysters.

All sizes are 750mL unless otherwise noted.
